Getting Rowdy by Lori Foster
So.. This is what I've been waiting for-flipping-ever for. I loved Logan and of course Reese was yumalicious but, jeez, it was Rowdy that got me hot and bothered from day one with has baddass-badassedness (pardon my French).
Suffice to say, Getting Rowdy did NOT disappoint. The plot was good but, hey? Being honest? I was there for the hunk, so I really couldn't have cared less about that. Avery was a cool heroine with an unusual edge - she reminded me a lot of Alice because she seemed to have so many secrets going on, but with a bit more(ok - a lot more) sass thrown in for the heck of it. Avery matched Rowdy in intensity and f...er, other things. I wasn't there but, man, I was definitely feeling it; and I do mean FEELING it. The plot, the sexiness, the funny, spunky characters all got me going.
Overall, Getting Rowdy was a great, fun read with a decent plot and mystery and great, lovable (hunky) characters who always succeed in pushing my buttons. And that's what counts.
